Effects of focusing parameters on conversion efficiency of stimulated Raman scattering

The expresion for conversion efficiency of the stimulated Eaman scatteting pumped by a focusing laser beam is deduced in this paper, The effects of focusing parameters on the conversion efficiency are analyzed, the calculated result shows that the optimum focusing parameters were related to the pumping power intensity.

Low jitter Marx bank for cold cathode E-beam sources

The delay and jitter characteristics of the three electrode spark gap weres studied in this paper. A three stage Marx bank was designed using synchronous trigger pulses for each spark gap.
