A simple method for describing superradiance

Ultrashort dye ASE pulses generated by transversal travelling wave pumping

A N2 laser with λ=337.1 nm, pulse width =700ps is used as pumping source. Optical fiber coupled optical bistable semiconductor lasers

A compact, low input power optical bistable device, combined with photodetector and optical fiber directional coupler and semiconductor laser diode, was presented. Laser-evaporated pulsed atomic beams and its application

The laser-evaporated atomic vapor was studied experimentally with a view to obtain an atomic beam. Blocking effect of swirling nozzle flow and its possible application to aerodynamic laser window design

A novel inclusion in laser crystals

In growing alexandrite crystals, a novel inclusion has been found. The inclusions are quantitatively analysed by electronic probe and the mechanism for forming inclusions is suggested. Analysis of surface quality of grey iron subjected to laser melting treatment

This paper deals with the influence of laser beam on the width and depth of melting zona and surface smoothness. The experimental result shows that the depth of hardened zone and smoothness of surface can be controlled conveniently by varying the power output beam diameter and scanning rate of laser light. Autocorrelation measurement of mode-locked Ar+ laser pulses with a novel frequency doubling crysteal β-BaB2O4

Both calculation and experimental results show that second harmonics of all spectral lines of Ar+ laser light can be produced simply by angular tuning ofβ-BaB2O4 crystal at room temperatures. This is used in the autocorrelation measurement of mode-locked Ar+ laser pulses, and the Ar+ laser pluse, with 4 stronger sp’ectBoth calculation and experimental results show that second harmonics of all spectral lines of Ar+ laser light can be produced simply by angular tuning ofβ-BaB2O4 crystal at room temperatures. This is used in the autocorrelation measurement of mode-locked Ar+ laser pulses, and the Ar+ laser pluse, with 4 stronger sp’ectral lines were measured to be180-230 ps at room temperature, overcoming the shortcoming of the previous SHG method at low temperatures and cross-correlation method..

Spectral and. laser properties of a new laser dye in blue-green spectral region

A new laser dye for blue-green spectral region was synthesized and its spectral and laser properties were given. It was found that different solvents can make laser wavelength of this dye tuning in the spectral region of 457 to 521 nm. Damage threshold of cornea for XeCl excimer lasers

Ocular dose reponse relationship was experimentally determined by exposing chinchilla rabbit eyes to XeCl excimer laser light at 308 nm. The eorneal damage threshold ED59 (effective dose for 0.5 probability of producing a biomieroscopically visible eorneal lesion) was found to be 0.83 J/cm2(95% C. Research on infrared photoelectric emission on cathode surface in a glow discharge tube
