    Abstract

Ocular dose reponse relationship was experimentally determined by exposing chinchilla rabbit eyes to XeCl excimer laser light at 308 nm. The eorneal damage threshold ED59 (effective dose for 0.5 probability of producing a biomieroscopically visible eorneal lesion) was found to be 0.83 J/cm2(95% C. L. was 0.749-0.911 J/cm2).
