    Abstract

    The eigenfunctions of electromagnetic wave in photonic crystal fibers were set up by a semi-vector method proposed by Monro et al. After solving the eigenfunctions,the fundamental mode profile and the dispersion were calculated. The connections between the structural parameters and waveguide dispersion of PCF were analyzed,and then the structural character of dispersion compensation PCF is discovered.
