    Abstract

    In this paper, the random fluctuation characteristics of the atmospheric turbulence coherence length and the light beam propagation far field strehl ratio are analysed and their probability density functions are derived based on the characteristic function of random variable. The theoretical analysis is validated by the experimental results.
