    Abstract

    Scattering and radiation characteristics of two step discontinuities in open circular chirowaveguide are investigated by a method which combines the multimode network theory with a rigorous mode matching procedure. Effect of chirality and geometric parameters of the step discontinuity on the scattering and radiation characteristics is carefully discussed. The results given in the present paper are of practical significance in study of chiro elements.
