The radiationcharacteristics of a new millimeter-wave omnidirectional circular rod antenna with doubledielectric gratins are analyzed with the rigorous mode matching method. The resultsindicate that under the condition of the same radiation intensity, the double gratingantenna has relatively smaller dimensions than that of the single one. It is undoubtedly agreat importance in the case where the limitation of the weight and volume of system isstrictly required. The effectiveness and reliability of the present analysis are verifiedby the related results given in the literature..

In the case of certain parameters for concentration and temperature profile, particle and radiation properties of gas, the finite volume method in body-fitted coordinates is used to calculate the infrared spectral properties of the solid rocket exhaust plume with anisotropic scattering particles, results of which are compared with those of discrete ordinate method. Apparent spectral radiative intensities at 2.7μm and 2.95μm and band radiative intensity within 2.7~2.95μm are analyzed. Furthermore, the errors caused by isotropic scattering or no scattering approximation to non-linear anisotropy scattering model are investigated..

By using the method of deflecting the standard radiation and the IRTS (IR Target Simulator) radiation into IR spectroradiometer alternatively, the developed IRTSCS(IR Target Simulator Calibration System) can calibrate IRTS directly. IRTSCS is consists of a standard collimating unit, a radiation-deflecting device and an IR spectroradiometer. The standard collimating unit contains a standard blackbody working in temperature of 50℃~1050℃ and a collimator which main mirror is an off-axis paraboloid of aperture 300mm. The radiation-deflecting device is composed of a 465mm aperture of reflecting mirror and a rotating platform with locating precision of 5″. IR spectroradiometer adopts CVF (Circular Variable Filter) to disperse the incident radiation. It has three working spectral in the ranges of 1μm~3μm, 3μm~5μm and 8μm~14μm respectively. Testing datum of the three ranges show that the minimum spectral irradiance of calibration is lower than 10 -11W/cm2. The relative standard uncertainty of IRTSCS is 2% ..

Bi 3.25La 0.75Ti 3O 12 (BLT) ferroelectric thin films (<100nm) were deposited on Pt/Ti/SiO 2/Si substrates using chemical solution methods. The ultraviolet-visible ellipsometric spectra of the BLT thin films have been investigated in the photon energy range of 2~4.5eV. Based on the classical optical functions of the dielectrics and five-phase structure model, the optical constants of the BLT thin films in the transparent and absorption region, the surface roughness, the thicknesses of the BLT thin films and the interface layer between the films and substrates were simultaneously obtained by the fitting. The dispersion of the refractive index in the transparent region fitted well to a single-term Sellmeier relation. Finally, a 3.96ev direct band gap of the Bi 3.25La 0.75Ti 3O 12 thin films was obtained employing Tauc's principle..

new automatic target recognition algorithm based on infrared multispectral imagery correlation (IMIC) is presented. According to infrared multispectral characteristic information (such as radiation intensity and spectral distribution) of targets, background and decoys, an infrared multispectral eigenmatrix of scenario is constructed. An infrared multispectral eigenmatrix of interesting targets is reconstructed after segmenting image by maximum-error-method and fusing target information of space and spectrum. An infrared multispectral imagery correlation recognition method is formulated in terms of spectral radiation difference of interesting targets. Digital simulation experiment result verifies that the algorithm is proper and feasible.

The effects of annealing atmosphere (air and oxygen) on the crystallinity, grain size and resistivity of LaNiO 3 thin films, and the PZT films grown on the LNO layers were studied. The results showed that the value of the resistivity of the LaNiO 3 thin films annealed in oxygen is only half of that obtained in air. The conductive mechanism of LaNiO 3 thin films was discussed..

A novel accurate automated registration technique for infrared images based on the optical flow field analysis was presented. The technique can be preformed with two processes. Firstly the registration of background area of two images is finished based on the computation of global optical flow field. Then a hierarchical coarse-to-fine matching algorithm is used to extract the feature points of moving targets in two images. The registration of moving targets is finished using method of least squares which computes the transforming parameters of moving targets based on two set of feature points extracted. The simulation experiments for infrared images in some fields show that the method is accurate and robust to motion of scene..
