Measuring Torsional and Transversal Vibrations of Rotating Shafts Using Laser

In this paper the multi-dimension movement of a roasting shaft under vibrations is studied and a novel method of optical measurement of torsional and transversal vibrations in a drive train is proposed. With modern optoelectronic digital signal processins and microcomputer techniques, the measuring device is developed.

Improve Illumination Uniformity by Suppressing the Diffraction of a Lens Array

Using the amplitude apodized edge, phase apodized edge and serrated edge, the illumination uniformity of the focus spot can be improved by suppressing the diffraction of the lens array. According to practical needs, the measurement ranse of pressure from 0 up to 147.10 kpa was determined. The measurement accuracy is 0. 2%.
