Self-pumped phase-conjugate reflectivity enhanced via two-wave mixing in a BaTiO3crystal

This paper reports a method for obtaining high phase-conjugate reflectivity, which combines two-wave coupling and self-pumping effect in a BaTiO3 crystal. The dependence of the phase-conjugate reflectivity upon the beam intensity ratio and the angle between two coupled beams are given. Measurements of high-lying levels of atom Gd by resonant multiphoton ionization

Picosecond absorption spectroscopic studies on a conducting polymer MP-PPV

We have studied transient absorption of the conducting polymer MP-PPV in solution and film after picosecond UV pulse excitation. Measurement of parameters of semiconductor lasers via operating in an external cavity

Multiple-valued optical logic implementation via opto-electronic bistable circuits

Intensity optical correlation through optical differentiation preprocessing

Black-white and color images edge enhancement by polarization spatial filtering

Design and synthesis of dispersion viewing window rainbow holograms

Output power constancy of a high nitrogen partial pressures carbon dioxide laser with variable total pressures

Near field on-axis irradiance of truncated-Gaussian apertures

Mode equation of trapezoidal cross-section dielectric optical waveguide

A simplified method is presented for analysing the propagation characteristics of trapezoidal cross-section dielectric optical waveguides by the effective index method and WKB theory, and the approximate mode equation is derived for calculating the Emnx mode effective indices. Third-order nonlinear optical properties of Fe2O3colloids

It showed that the third-order optical nonlinearities were enhanced clearly after Fe2O3 small particles were claded with a layer of polar molecules, and their third-order nonlinear optical coefficient X(3) for the Third-order nonlinear optical properties of Fe2O3 colloids were studied with degenerate four wave mixing.
