Research on optic spatial frequency analysis of linear structures in remote sensing images

This paper describes the fundamental principle and experimental method for spatial frequency analysis of the linear structures in remote sensing images. The faint geologic structures in ERTS image of Yanting county, Sichuan province have been analysed by this method, and useful results obtained.

Frequency-selection and mode-locking of Nd:YAG laser

Mode-locking of Nd: YAG laser has been achieved at four spectral lines(1.052μm, 1.061μm, 1.064μm and 1.073μm)by inserting prisms as dispersion elements in the cavity. The calculations on prisms are consistent with the experimental results. The stable output wavelength of the laser has been obtained.

Laser active color center F_B(Ⅱ)in KCl:Na crystals
YOu Lu, Li Ping, Li Shenghua, Fang Shugan, Wei Shouzu, He Shaoqi, and Wang Kuihua
By using additive coloration method, the F-center concentration of 1016~1018cm-3in KCl: Na crystals is obtained. FB(Ⅱ)center is formed by exposing the additively colored crystal to F-band excitation, and its emission band at 77K covers the range of 2.1 to 2.8 μm, and the peak is at 2.5μm.

Synthesis of He-Ne laser frequency at 88 THz
Ni Yucai, Yan Hanmei, Ma Mingde, and Lin Jian
The beat signals of the harmonic mixing between He-Ne laser at 3.39μm, CO2 laser and microwave radiation of the klystron has been observed by using a W-Ni point contact MIM diodeu as the harmonic generator and mixer. The signal to noise ratio obtained was 22 dB at the bandwidth of 50 kHz.

Crystals of K3Nd(PO4)2 and K3NdxLa1-x(PO4)2 have been grown from KF-KCl melt. Chemical analysis and X-ray diffraction pattern proved the constitution of the crystals to be K3Nd(PO4)2. Their infrared, absorption, fluorescene spectra and fluorescence lifetime have been determined.
