    Abstract

    In order to measure the warhead profile and achieve high precision, rotary triangulation based on classical triangulation is described, which introduces spherical coordinate system and converts large measurement range to small measurement range. The measurement application programm by Visual Basic is presented. Three dimensional warhead profile and section plane are given according to experiment data. The results indicate that the experiment data from rotary triangulation accords with the theory analysis. This method reduces measurement range by several times, and achieves the measurement of warhead profile with great measurement range, and enhances the measurement accuracy. Rotary triangulation is one of the recommendation methods to measure objects that are similar to sphere.
