    Abstract

    Distributed Integrated Modular Avionics(DIMA)system has become the development direction of the next generation of avionics systems.In order to determine the network communication technology of the DIMA system, we built the system architecture model and discussed its difference and connection with the federated system and Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) system on the Communication, Navigation and Identification (CNI) integrated system.On this basis, the network communication requirements of the DIMA system was summarized.The advantages of using Time-Triggered Ethernet (TTE) to realize DIMA system network interconnection in real-time and reliable communication as well as system incremental upgrade were verified by comparing and analyzing Fiber Channel (FC) and avionics full duplex switched ethernet with TTE.
