    Abstract

    Lie symmetry analysis, G′/G-expansion and power series methods are performed for nonlinear LC circuit equation. The symmetries for the equation are given by Lie symmetry analysis. Combining Lie symmetry analysis, homogeneous balance principle and G′/G-expansion method, all of the G′/G solutions to the nonlinear LC circuit equation are obtained. Exact power series solutions of the nonlinear LC circuit equation are provided.
