Abstract

A table sized Raman free electron laser (FEL) is proposed. The new FEL device is composed of a Marx generator, a pseudospark discharge and a small Periodwiggler. The outline dimension of the new FEL will be reduced to 1/4～1/5 of a traditional FEL.
