    Abstract

    The applications of the mode-locked solid-state laser in many aspects are limited by the pulse stabilization. The non-linear Schr?dinger equation including noise is obtained from the pulse propagation equation of the passive mode-locked Cr4+∶YAG laser,and the pulse transmission of timing form in the laser cavity is analyzed. The linear perturbation equations of the pulse parameters in the mode-locked Cr4+∶YAG laser is found,and the equations of motion for the pulse parameters perturbation are obtained,and the root-mean-square fluctuation of the pulse timing and phase is derived. The experiment method of reduced timing jitter in the mode-locked solid-state Cr4+∶YAG laser is proposed. The results show that the modelocked solid-state Cr4+∶YAG laser can be used in the fiber communication and the quantum communication.
