    Abstract

    The feasible schemes for solid-state laser to realize high average-power output are compared, and the development and the current status of heat capacity laser are described. The basic principle of the solid-state heat capacity laser (SSHCL) is introduced, and the advantage and the disadvantage of the SSHCL are analyzed. A new type laser with rapid gain medium exchange is proposed, and simulated experiments are carried out to test it.
