    Abstract

A fiber Bragg grating is bonded on special material with a negative thermal expansion coefficient. The simple and compact temperature compensation fiber Bragg grating package is demonstrated. The total variation in wavelength over temperature range from -20~44 ℃ is 0.08 nm, which 1/8 of the uncompensated fiber Bragg grating.
