    Abstract

This paper reports the angular distribution of scattered lights from interaction of 0.53 μm laser light with Au disks. The experimental results of the angular distribution is different with what SBS theory predicts. These experiments show that SRS energy is much lower than that of scattered lights. So SRS can not be the mechanism of producing these scattered lights, which could come from specular reflection.
