    Abstract

    Experimental results of an angle-tuned KTP optical parametric oscillator (OPO) pumped by the second harmonic of a Q-swiched Nd:YAG laser are presented. The output energies greater than 19.5mJ/pulse have been obtained with an energy conversion efficiency of 19% and the obsorved tuning range was 0.96-1.2μm.
