    Abstract

Some instruments such as motion stages and shutters in optical holographic experiments are commonly used with automatic programming control. The automatic control is commonly achieved based on instruments controlling system with PC as major component, which is more complex, high costs and less compact. In this paper, instruments controlling system for optical holographic experiments is designed and implemented based on ARM Embedded System. The system communicates with instruments via standardized interfaces and interacts with users by using visual interfaces. The whole system is integrated by printed-circuit boards. The instrument controlling system can implement auto control to shutters, motion stages, and power meters. Visual interfaces for control and display are designed and achieved.
