    Abstract

    Image transmission through an equilateral triangle waveguide is discussed theoretically. Self-image period in a mental equilateral triangle waveguide is derived;and image transmission on the waveguide is studied by numerical simulation. With the help of numerically analyzing,it is found that three output images form from one of three the self-imaging length of the waveguide,moreover,the symmetrical output images rotate 120°angles.
