    Abstract

    Currently,the measurement of infrared signatures for U.S.military aircraft is implemented mainly by using airborne infrared pod systems.This paper presents a brief introduction to the U.S.airborne IR measurement systems and their test aircrafts in service,with emphasis on the summary and description of the airborne IR measurement systems at the Eglin AF base and the Navy Air War Center(NAWC).
