    Abstract

The effects of atmospheric aerosols on radiative transfer in infrared window channels were analyzed. For the land surface temperature retrieval at infrared window channels, the effects of the uncertainties in atmospheric aerosol and the effects of the deviations in atmospheric temperature, moisture and aerosol on the retrieval accuracy were investigated.
