The production, observation and thermostability of the zero-phonon lines of R2 center and 756.6 nm in colored KCl crystals and R2 center in colored KBr crystals are investigated in detail. The proper thermal annealing was used for strengthening the zerophonon lines. The related explanation is given in this paper.
