    Abstract

    In order to discuss the soliton transmission characteristics in dispersion management system, the following cases that the averaged dispersion of dispersion map is negative (anomalous) and positive (normal) are simulated respectively. The result shows that as depth of dispersion map changes stronger, pulses’ peak power and fluctuation of pulses’ amplitude become greater, and bright soliton can transmit stably in the averaged dispersion of positive, but transmission quality is poor, transmission distance is limited.
