    Abstract

Fluorescence and laser characteristics of the sodium Salicylate in polar solvents have been studied systematically. Through comparing its emission spectra and the distribution of tunable laser energy it is found that there is a strong self-absorption of excited states in sodium Salicylate. The curves of fluorescence intensity via solution temperature are given for these kinds of solution. It was considered that these temperature responses are due to the flexible plane molecular structure of sodium Salicylate.
