    Abstract

Because of the space camera’s large Field of View (FOV), stray light is more difficult to eliminate. Therefore, it is difficult to design the baffle. Through the Point Source Transmittance (PST), the suppression indicators of the camera’s stray light are calculated by the standard of the target brightness which is detected by the space camera. Based on the suppression indicators, according to the features of space camera and the hood design principles, a two-class shield was designed. The whole space camera was emulated in the TracePro. It is proved that the design of the shield can successfully suppress stray light and meet the requirements of the space camera through the derived point source transmittance curve.
