    Abstract

The Scanning radiometer is one of the main loads of FY-2, which is developed by Shanghai Institute of Technical Physics, CAS. To obtain its radiometric responses, pre-launch field radiometric calibration test is taken by AIOFM with two calibration methods, radiation calibration and Langley calibration, are applied to the visible channel of scanning radiometer . The uniformity, reflectivity and BRDF (Bidirectional reflection of distribution function) of five Standard White References which are used for calibration were tested, the principles of the calibration and the methods of data processing have been discussed; The integrated uncertainty of the results is about 6.0%-6.4%. Besides, a new approach named Detector Based Reflectance Calibration has been developed, which is independent of spectral response function. The result of this new method is consistent with that of radiation calibration and Langley calibration.
