    Abstract

    Aimed at target location,a metal target location algorithm based on region labeling for millimeter-wave radiometric image is proposed,which analyzes millimeter-wave radiometric characteristics of metal and the attribute of millimeter-wave radiometric image. Furthermore,metal targets in the image are segmented through region labeling,then the criterion on the basis of area is introduced to exclude false target. Finally,the metal targets are located accurately by the calculating method of the center. Experimental results show that the algorithm can detect single metal target as well as multiple metal targets. Besides,whatever shape of the target is,central coordinates of the target can be required precisely. Therefore,it provides a base for target selection and tracking.
