Since the all-optical wavelength conversion at present is realized by using Semiconductor Optical Amplifier (SOA),the all-optical wavelength conversion based on Erbium-doped Fiber Amplifier and Nonlinear Dispersion Fiber (EDFA+NDF) is put forward in the paper. When the pump and signal lights input the NDF,Four Wave Mixing (FWM) in NDF can produce new light in the nonlinear dispersion fiber.By using the OptiSystem software, the simulation of the all-optical wavelength conversion is achieved. And then, the all-optical wavelength conversion is realized through the EDFA and the G655.The conversion efficiency of -16.7dB is acquired. The experiment result indicates that sharp wavelength conversion picture is obtained both in theoretical simulation and lab.
