Two formula of modulation and modulation transfer function (MTF) of a line CCD optical-electronic imaging system are deduced by both methods of continuous fine signal sampling and interval fine signal sampling. It was pointed out that these two methods were different in improving the imaging quality of space line CCD camera. The characteristics of the two methods were compared.
