    Abstract

The theoretical analysis based on three Markovian stochastic models provides a closed-form solution for the difference-frequency Rayleigh-enhanced polarization beats. The subtle Markovian field correlation effects have been investigated. The different roles of the amplitude fluctuations and the phase fluctuations have been pointed out both in time-and frequency-domains. The difference-frequency REPB signal shows symmetric temporal behavior, and differences among three Markovian stochastic fields are quite sensitive to the change of bandwidth, and as the bandwidth increases, the difference becomes obscure.
