    Abstract

    All energy levels of the 2p53s, 3p and 3d configurations and electrio dipole oscillator strengths f values of 3s-3p, 3p-3d transitions in a neon-like ion Fe XVII have been calculated by means of the relativistio multiconfiguration Dirac-Fock (MCDF) approximate method. Calculated energy levels show a good agreement with the observations, and the MODF approximation are well suited for the calculations of energy levels in the neon-like isoeleotronio sequence. The oscillator strengths given in this paper are only theoretically prophetical values, thus far experimental values are unknown.
