    Abstract

    Facing the serious threaten of IR imaging guided missile, infrared imaging guided countermeasures play a more and more important role nowadays. The domestic and international development of screen smoke technology are presented. To study smoke screen, it's necessary to confirm an estimation technology of it, which is the main content of this paper. At first, the existed countermeasure effect evaluations of smoke are summarized and classified into experimental measurement and theoretical calculation. In the end, a way for effect evaluation of smoke fading location information is presented.
