    Abstract

    Laser techniques is surging with LD-pumped solid-state laser. But, the stability, model and beam quality of the laser are strongly affected by the thermal lens effect at high power. A few estimated equations of the thermal lens focal length fT and quality beam M^2 factor were introduced;a few advanced designs of cavity to compensate the thermal lens were analysed
