Abstract

A general method on the properties of non-uniform gas such as absorption and emission by spectrum data of interested molecules from HITRAN 2004 is provided. Based on this and atmospheric layering data, the transmissivity of infrared waveband through atmospheric path is calculated. The method is also applied to calculate the properties of plume of aircraft or other gases.
