    Abstract

    The practically measured Fourier infrared absorption spectra of heroin and opium have been given. On the basis of the absorption peak sites, the fundamental phonon energies of heroin are calculated: ELO=0.0486, ETO1=0.0555, ETO2=0.0616, ELA=0.0257, ETA1=0.0097, ETA2=0.0134 eV. All of the Fourier infrared absorption peaks of heroin, consist of these elementary phonons by different combination.
