    Abstract

    Considering the new technical and tactical characteristics of the fighters we established a comprehensive air combat effectiveness evaluation index system.The fighters high mobility strong situational awareness and excellent electronic warfare capability were highlighted and the index calculation formulas were given using the analytical method. Based on the analysis to the fighter air combat effectiveness evaluation methods an air combat effectiveness evaluation model with adjustable parameters based on S-shaped curve was put forward. A parameter in S-shaped curve was used as an adjustable parameter which greatly enhanced the flexibility of the evaluation model. The air combat effectiveness of F-16C before and after using date link and the operational effectiveness of three types of fighter were analyzed and the method for selecting the adjustable parameters and the application of the model were given. The simulation results showed that the model is flexible and effective which can enhance the credibility of the evaluation results while the evaluation process is simple and feasible.
