Testing optical phase object by Moire deflectometry

In this paper the principal formulae of phase object testing by Moire deflectometry are inferred from geometric and Fourier optics, and practical testing of an axially symmetrical flame temperature distribution is performed with its experimental results processed by the proposed formulae.

Exact structure determination of Mo/Si soft X-ray multilayer by small angle difraction
[in Chinese], [in Chinese], and [in Chinese]
The structrue of a periodic Mo/Si soft X-ray multilayer is determined through analyses of its small angle diffraction curve and then a numerical curve fitting process. Normal incident reflectance is calculated to be nearly 10% around wavelength 20 nm.

Investigation on porous silica anti-reflective coatings with high laser damage threshold

In this paper, we describe a new method for fast direct classification and counting of the surf ce defects in optical disks and substrates, and present the correspounding experimental results of the surface performance evaluation by this method. Defect signals are obtained with an auto- focusing laser beam scanning the surface of optical disk or substrate, and they are directly classified and counted by the electronic circuits. The number of all kinds of defects and the size are transfered into the micro-computer, then the defect density of optical disk or substrate are calculated by the measuring software, so that the surface performances of optical disks or substrates are effectively evaluated..

Experimental research on laser welding of 1 mm steel sheet
