The nth order wave interaction theory investigated in this paper should be considered as a continuation of the "exact solution to solitary wave equations of light interaction with two-level atomic systems" in the earlier paper[1]. In literature[4,5] the third order wave equations originate from the research of three-wave interaction. But the nth order wave equations considered now are derived from the w-dimensionall vector functions which satisfy two nonlinear equations, and the general solutions can be expressed in terms of the upper hemiplane analytical solutions and the lower hemiplane analytical solutions. These results include the 2nd and the 3rd order solutions as a special example..

A new method for laser frequency stabilization is also presented..

Holographic interferometry of amplitude and direction of vibration
Chen Guicong, Yu Ting, Wu Shaohua, and Shan Qizhe
The synthetic slit method of rainbow holography of 3-D diffuse objects[1-4] is extended to analyze the space Fourier characteristics of vibrating objects. A process of measuring both the amplitude and direction of vibration is presented. Experimental results obtained are coincident with the theoretical analysis.

The 10.6μm CO2 homodyne receiving has been adopted for detecting deterioration of the spatial ’coherence of laser radiation. The relation between the heterodyne efficiency and normalization aperture of the receiver is presented. It is shown that the efficiency of the heterodyne receiver decreases with increasing of the normalization aperture when the aperture of the heterodyne receiver is larger than the coherence diameter, but the result is opposite when the aperture is less than the coherence diameter..

Lin Zeming, and Pan Zhenzhong
A design using output from a bifrequency, colinear dye laser pumped by short-pulse xenon flash lamp is presented. The stimulated hyper-Raman radiation of near and middle IB may be generated by simultaneous single-double photon resonance enhencement.
