Theoretical analysis on the breakdown process of He-Ne laser tubes with low breakdown voltage

This paper presents our theoretical analysis on the breakdown process of He-Ne laser tubes. Based on the analytical results, a new explanation of the mechanism of lowering breakdown valtage is given. The theoretical analysis is found to agree fairly well with the experimental results.

Optimization of discharge circuit elements for copper vapor lasers
