Application of spectral and spectral imaging technology in biomedicine

Spectroscopy technology and spectral imaging technology have very broad application prospects in the biomedical field because of their obtainment of target’s chemical composition information. Latest development of seven applications of spectra and spectral imaging technology in biomedical field were introduced. Among tSpectroscopy technology and spectral imaging technology have very broad application prospects in the biomedical field because of their obtainment of target’s chemical composition information. Latest development of seven applications of spectra and spectral imaging technology in biomedical field were introduced. Among those,applications of fluorescent multi-label colocalization,spectral karyotying and ocular pathology diagnosis are matured and have been used clinically. Although with clinical significance,applications of spectral imaging cancer detection,bio-chip testing,nondestructive glucose and Raman cancer detection are still in the early stages of development. All above applications have lower accuracy of detection or poorer universality,and further investigation is expected..

Dispersion and transmission property of resonator side coupling MDM waveguide based on surfaceplasmon polaritons

A sub-wavelength surface plasmon polariton wavelength filter which consists of an L shape cavity and a rectangle cavity coupled to a straight metal-dielectric-metal(MDM) waveguide was proposed and investigated numerically. The simulation results show that the real and imagine part of effective index changed rapidly at A sub-wavelength surface plasmon polariton wavelength filter which consists of an L shape cavity and a rectangle cavity coupled to a straight metal-dielectric-metal(MDM) waveguide was proposed and investigated numerically. The simulation results show that the real and imagine part of effective index changed rapidly at short wavelength and reached a constant at long wavelength 800～2000 nm. The propagation distance increased with the increasing of wavelength and waveguide width. When the waveguide width is over 50 nm it reaches 4～9 μm which can meet the photonic device. The L shape cavity and rectangle shape cavity side coupling reached a similar result as if their length equal to each other,it showed that the forbidden band only has relation with cavity length and it has a reference meaning for development of integrated photonic device..

Image edge detection method based onnonseparable additive wavelet and morphological gradient

In order to solve the problem that the traditional image edge detection techniques only emphasize the horizontal and vertical edges,a new image edge extraction method combining the multi-resolution analysis of nonseparable additive wavelet transformation and the mathematical morphology was proposed. A low-pass filter oIn order to solve the problem that the traditional image edge detection techniques only emphasize the horizontal and vertical edges,a new image edge extraction method combining the multi-resolution analysis of nonseparable additive wavelet transformation and the mathematical morphology was proposed. A low-pass filter of nonseparable wavelet was constructed and the source image was decomposed into a low-frequency sub-image and high-frequency sub-images. The low-frequency sub-image was filtered to obtain morphological gradient map. The high-frequency sub-images were added to form an enhanced high-frequency edge map by using modulus maxima value method. Inverse transform of nonseparable additive wavelet transform was performed on the gradient map and edge map and an edge-gradient map was produced. The final edge map was obtained by binarizing the edge-gradient map. The experimental results show that the proposed method has good visual effect. When compared with the traditional image edge detection techniques,it can extract image edges with integrity,multidirection,shift invariance and high speed..

Structure optimization of laser cavities pumped by flash lamps based on ray-tracing

Laser cavity is indispensable in solid-state laser pumped by flash-lamps,which focuses the pump light on laser rod more efficiently and evenly. To achieve high-energy output,it is necessary to consider optimizing laser cavities and increasing the pumping efficiency. Through the ray-tracing technique of Monte Carlo methLaser cavity is indispensable in solid-state laser pumped by flash-lamps,which focuses the pump light on laser rod more efficiently and evenly. Through the ray-tracing technique of Monte Carlo method and establishment of reasonable model,four-lamps cavity was researched in certain diameter of laser rod. The relationships between pumping efficiency and the ratio of elliptic major axis and minor axis(a/b) were obtained. Moreover,the relationships between pumping efficiency and diameter of flash-lamps were obtained in certain a/b. The a/b of supreme pumping efficiency was obtained in certain diameter of laser rod and flash-lamp. In addition,the relationship between pumping uniformity and ratio of elliptic major axis and minor axis(a/b) were obtained on the condition of certain diameter of laser rod and uncertain diameter of flash-lamps..

Pulse sequence generation with high-performance for 40Ca+ optical frequency standard

In order to ensure the measurement precision of clock transition and accuracy of locking of 40Ca+ optical frequency standard,a method of multi-channel virtual pulse signal generation based on digital waveform of LabVIEW and data acquisition card was investigated. And the method benefits controlling automatically and coIn order to ensure the measurement precision of clock transition and accuracy of locking of 40Ca+ optical frequency standard,a method of multi-channel virtual pulse signal generation based on digital waveform of LabVIEW and data acquisition card was investigated. And the method benefits controlling automatically and conveniently the experimental process. The realized multi-channel generator adopts the way of multi-channel digital sequence sync-output and hardware clock of data acquisition card as timer. By programming the continuous rectangular pulses from the counter/timer,the output signals are sent to a data acquisition card as synchronous clock to control the output of digital waveform. The sample output rate of digital signal can reach 1 MHz,the precision of the pulse width can stably reach 1 μs and the rising delay is less than 50 ns. While all pulses of this generator are triggered simultaneously,the generator has good resolution,synchronism and stability..

Fabrication ofanatase TiO2 film by KrF pulse laser annealing

TiO2 thin films of about 200 nm thickness were prepared by RF magnetron sputtering on quartz substrates at room temperature,and then annealed by a KrF pulse laser with wavelength 248 nm under different power densities in the air. The results showed that high-quality anatase TiO2 films can be obtained when the power density was 0.5 J/cm2. Polarization error and compensation in quantum communication using satellites

In view of the polarization maintaining problem in quantum communication using satellites,the atmospheric scattering and the relative motion between satellite and ground station which have impact on the photon polarization states in satellite quantum communication were researched. The influence on quantum bit error rate of the system caused by alignment error and phase delay was simulated and analyzed. The existing polarization compensation scheme that combines the BB84 protocol and half wave plate rotating has a defect that cannot communicate in the process of compensation. A new scheme was proposed to overcome the defect by joining the advanced compensation before the alignment. The result is that the polarization error can be compensated to zero and the safe and reliable quantum communication using satellites can be realized. And it’s convenient to realize because the scheme only need to add a half wave plate on the original system..

Quantum secure direct communication via quantumencryption

Based on quantum encryption and Ping-Pong protocol,a quantum secure direct communication protocol was proposed. Entanglement evolution and transfer in Landau-Zener model

The entanglement dynamical behaviors of two two-level systems,which respectively interact with a single-mode quantum light-cavity field,were investigated. The results show that when choosing the appropriate condition,the initial entanglement can be perfectly transferred into the light-cavity fields. Influence of local entanglement swapping on quantum random networks robustness

Entanglement percolation was used to establish long-distance entanglement between arbitrary nodes of quantum random networks. There is a local entanglement swapping operation for the network. This operation changes the local connection of the network,which also lead to the entire network topology structure changed. Evolution toward dark state of electromagnetically induced transparency in Zeeman-sublevel

Two polarization schemes,the circular polarization and the linear polarization,were considered. The combined effect of the individual components was compared with the simple three-level system. Analytical results indicate that the population of the dark state in the circular polarization modes are closer to the simple three-level situation than in the linear polarization modes,and the spatial resolution in the circular polarization modes are better than in the linear polarization modes. The process of evolution also shows that system requires enough interaction time to reach steady-state..

Performance of chaotic spreading-spectrum sequences based on repeatedly reconstructed mapping

According to reconstruction principle,a novel chaotic mapping was investigated,aiming at seeking for spreading sequences with excellent performance. The maximum Lyapunov exponent of the new chaotic mapping was increased from 0.697 to more than 5.5. Synchronization ofmemristor circuits under time-varying coupling

Based on the Lyapunov stability theory,the feasibility of synchronization was proved between a class of third-order memristor chaotic circuits under undirectional linear coupling. Complete synchronization can be realized when constant gain in the controller is beyond the threshold. Defect darksolitons in PT-symmetric optical lattices

Defect dark solitons were numerically researched in parity-time-symmetric optical lattices with an additional defect in the real part. When the diffraction is balanced with the self-defocusing nonlinear effect,dark solitons can be obtained. Dispersion relations of two-dimensional equilateral hexagonal lattice vibration

Based on lattice dynamics,considering the central in-plane elastic forces of the interatomic interaction,the dispersion relations of two-dimensional equilateral hexagonal lattice were derived,and the expressions of the dispersion relations along Γ-M,M-K and Γ-K three symmetry directions were obtained in the first BrillBased on lattice dynamics,considering the central in-plane elastic forces of the interatomic interaction,the dispersion relations of two-dimensional equilateral hexagonal lattice were derived,and the expressions of the dispersion relations along Γ-M,M-K and Γ-K three symmetry directions were obtained in the first Brillouin zone. There are four pieces of lattice waves in each direction,where two branches are acoustic waves and other two are optical waves. The effects of the nearest neighbor and secondary neighbor coupling to the dispersion relations were discussed. The results show that,in only nearest neighbor coupling,the eigen frequencies of two acoustic modes are zero and other two non-zero values which correspond to optical modes are degenerate at Γ point. One high frequency acoustic branch and one low frequency optical branch are degenerate at K point,and all four branches are nondegenerate at M point. One of the acoustic branches has totally zero frequencies and one optical branch is dispersionless over the entire symmetry directions. There is a frequency gap between acoustic branches and optical branches along Γ-M direction,and no frequency gap in other directions. With enhancement of the secondary neighbor coupling,the phonon frequencies are increased,and all four branches are displayed distinct dispersion along three directions,and the frequency gap is narrowed along Γ-M direction. The above results indicate that the dispersion relations are remarkably affected by the secondary neighbor coupling. But it has no influence on the value and degeneracy of the phonon frequency at Γ point,and it also has no effect on the degencracy of the phonon frequency at k point..

Theoretical investigation of effects of pressure onNiO crystal structure and electronic structure

The electronic structure,stability as well as the electronic state of NiO oxide at different exotic pressures were investigated by the density functional theory calculations method. The results show that the lattice parameters of NiO are decreased and the bond length are decreased along with increasing the exotic pressThe electronic structure,stability as well as the electronic state of NiO oxide at different exotic pressures were investigated by the density functional theory calculations method. The results show that the lattice parameters of NiO are decreased and the bond length are decreased along with increasing the exotic pressure. The symmetry of NiO remains unchanged. The Fermi level is decreased and then increased by increasing the exotic pressure. There is a 0.46 eV indirect band gap of the parent NiO,the density of states near the Fermi level is low. The band gap is firstly decreased and then increased by increasing the exotic pressure,the density of states near Femi level is increased and then decreased by increasing the exotic pressure. The analyzing results indicated that the effective mass of carriers can be enhanced firstly and then depressed by increasing the exotic pressure,effective mass of carriers above the Fermi level is light at different exotic pressures. The distribution of electrons can be modulated by altering the exotic pressure..
