Measurement of two-dimensional optical transfer function

On the relaxation effect of Stark splitted levels for a two-level system interacting with a symmetrical strong resonant bichromatic field

Using the semi-classical theory, density matrix method and probe-field approximation and taking into account the relaxation effect, we have investigate the Stark split phenomenon for a two-level system interacting with a strong resonant biohromatic field. In the case of two strong fields having same amplitude and symmeUsing the semi-classical theory, density matrix method and probe-field approximation and taking into account the relaxation effect, we have investigate the Stark split phenomenon for a two-level system interacting with a strong resonant biohromatic field. In the case of two strong fields having same amplitude and symmetrical detuning of frequency, the relaxation effect not only influences the weight of splitted levels created from the optical Stark effect and broadens these levels, but new splitted levels can be found in a new position. It is predicted that new satellito lines of spectra can be observed in optical spectrum. These results, differ considerably from, that in the case of mono-ohromatio field and provious work on the biohromatic field withou.t taking into oonsideration of the relaxation. In the oasis of mono-chromatic the effecl) of relaxation only influenoes the weight and width of Stark splitted levels but 110 new splitted levels can be found. Because the relaxation effeeii produced by spontaneous emission between upper and lower levels in real atom and molecule system, usually cannot be neglected, the results of thia paper can be used in piaotioal applications..

Approximate solutions of the generalized Bloch equation with damping terms

Approximate solutions of the feneralized Bloch equations which describe a two-level system interacting with a strong no-rotating field are presented. The approximation is based on an iterative method. The accuracy of solutions is discussed by comparing them with the numerically intefrated solutions. Single frequency TE CO2 laser

Single frequency laser output has been obtained for the first time from a transverse excitation (TE) CO2 laser with the simple method of shortening the cavity length and decreasing total gas pressure appropriately. The cavity length of the laser is 14 cm only with activating length of 10 cm. The pressure is 240Torr. Normalized cut-off frequencies of the LP11 mode in α-power fibers with a central dip

A normalized mathematical model is used for describing the refractive-index profile of α-power fibers with a central dip. Reman seattering of Ti diffuced LiNbO3 waveguide

Four kinds of right angle Eaman scattering spectra of Ti-deffused LiNbO3 optical waveguide are reported in this paper. In the experiments on this waveguide, obvious anomalous phenomena in Eaman scattering spectra have been observed for four scattering geometries. XeCl excimer laser induced multiphoton ionization of ammonia molecule
HAN JINGCHENG, GUAN YIFU, LIU HUOXIAN, WU CUNKAI, ZHU RONG, and LI SUTAO
XeCl exoimer laser induced multiphoton ionization and fragmentation of NH3 are investigated, using a molecule-beam apparatus and modified quadrupble mass spectrometer. We have observed two mass peaks due to NH2+ and NH3+ at m/e=16 and 17, also found very strong mass peak of NH4+ at m/e=18. The yield dependences for varXeCl exoimer laser induced multiphoton ionization and fragmentation of NH3 are investigated, using a molecule-beam apparatus and modified quadrupble mass spectrometer. We have observed two mass peaks due to NH2+ and NH3+ at m/e=16 and 17, also found very strong mass peak of NH4+ at m/e=18. The yield dependences for various ions on the parent moleoular pressure and laser power were measured in order to have a better understanding of the generation mechanism for various ions, particularly NH4+ ion..

Study of Hadamard Transform Imaging Spectrometry

Measurement of inhomogeneity of refractive index of thin film(II)

The principles for judging inhomogeneity of refractive index of thin film from Δ- Ψ trace spreading over several. periods are given.
