In photoelectric jamming system, the evaluation method of photoelectric jamming to detector plays an important role. Through analyzing the fuzzy factors which affect the efficiency of photoelectric jamming, the models of integrated fuzzy evaluation of photoelectric jamming are proposed, including degree of collimation model, energy density model, laser wavelength model, pulse width model, atmospheric condition model and surface quality model of photoelectric material. The fuzzy relation matrix could be calculated through degree of membership of single factor.Furthermore, the integrated fuzzy evaluation results of effectiveness of photoelectric jamming are induced. Also a calculation example is given. The result proves that the integrated fuzzy evaluation method of photoelectric jamming to detector is an effective way to carry out efficiency evaluation of photoelectric jamming..

Biometrics-based verification is an effective approach to personal authentication using biological features extracted from the individual. In this paper, a new personal recognition method is proposed based on the finger crease pattern because the finger creases are thought to be stable and different for each individual. The proposed approach consists of three stages: pre-processing, the feature extraction and feature matching. In the pre-processing stage, a located and normalized method based on the central axes is proposed, and the Region of Interest (ROI) for each finger image is obtained. The region of interest is a rectangular window on the inner side of the finger, which includes the first joint lines and second joint lines in the finger image. In the second stage, Radon transform and the singular value decomposition is applied to extract finger crease features from the region of interest to form the feature vector. The proposed method has been tested on an image database which has 488 images from 61 persons using the nearest neighbor classifier in third stage. The experimental results demonstrate that our proposed approach is feasible and effective in biometrics in terms of the equal error rate(EER = 2.51 percent)..

A novel scheme for measurement of high-frequency strain is presented. The strain measurement system is made up of Fiber Bragg Grating(FBG) sensor, high-frequency strain signal source and demodulation part. The high frequency demodulation system of FBG is designed based on unbalanced Mach-Zehnder interferometer. The frequency of strain signal can be controlled by a special experimental setup, which is a kind of modified Split Hopkinson Pressure Bar(SHPB) used widely for testing physical properties of materials. The lasting time of strain is calculated according to the length of an elastic piston. It has the same section with impacted elastic bar. Operating frequency range of the measurement system is studied using vibration signal. Experimental results of vibration and impact are shown and discussed. The system can measure amplitude of dynamic strain in real time. Experiment results demonstrate that the measurement system has good frequency response within 8kHz..
