Mid-IR Laser Far-field Power Measurement System Based on Imaging Method

A set of Mid-IR laser far-field power measurement system based on imaging method is designed and developed. The basic principle of imaging method for measuring far-field laser power density distribution is introduced. The diffuse-reflective board is used to collect laser power distribution information to a Mid-IR thermA set of Mid-IR laser far-field power measurement system based on imaging method is designed and developed. Based on deeply researching on amplifying circuit of the photoelectric detector, an all optical fiber high-speedAll optical fiber high-speed state of polarization (SOP) measurement, especially the high-speed SOP measurement of analog signal, has important applications in optical fiber communications and sensing areas. Based on deeply researching on amplifying circuit of the photoelectric detector, an all optical fiber high-speed SOP measurement system is developed on the basis of a polarization controller (PC), a polarization beam splitter (PBS) and a photoelectric detector. The SOP of 0~50 MHz analog signal is measured by the system and the errors are compared with that of a commercial polarization analyzer (PA). Experimental results show that the SOP measurement system can accurately measure Strokes parameters of 0~50 MHz analog signal and the error radius on the Poincaré sphere is less than 0.03, which is the same order of magnitude as that of commercial PA. The system has good repeatability, and the measure rate is faster than that of the current commercial PA. So it provides an effective mean for fiber sensing systems which use the light to be measured as analog signals..

Research on Viewing Angle Characteristics of Negative VA-LCD

The electro-optical characteristics of the negative VA-LCD under different driving voltages and the electro-optical characteristics along with the change of viewing angles are tested by a grating spectrograph to analyze electro-optical characteristics and viewing angles of the three primary colors of the negative VA-LCD. The results show that the transmittance of three primary colors is low under 2.2 V driving voltage, when the driving voltage exceeds 2.2 V, the transmittance increases with the increase of the voltage. The transmittance of red and green primary color increases all along, and reach 5.0 V are leveling off, but the transmittance of blue primary color is the maximum at 3.7 V, then become smaller, and then tends to a stable value at 6.0 V. Simulation of Back Emitter N-type Crystalline Silicon Solar Cells

In recent years, N-type crystalline silicon solar cells have attracted much attention in the field of high efficiency and low cost solar cell due to its great advantages, such as long minority carrier lifetime, low light-induced degradation and good low-light response. PC1D simulation is used to analyze the back emitter N-type crystalline silicon solar cells. The results show that back emitter doping concentration, junction depth, back surface recombination velocity, front surface field doping concentration and front surface recombination velocity have a greater impact on the cell conversion efficiency, and especially the front and back surface recombination velocity are the most. But the front surface field doping depth has less affect on the performance of the cell. For the front surface recombination, when the surface recombination velocity is less than 1×103 cm/s, there is a small affect on the performance of the cell, but when the surface recombination velocity is greater than 1×103 cm/s, the conversion efficiency of the cell decreases rapidly. The effects of back surface recombination on cell efficiency is even more obvious when the back surface recombination velocity is greater than 1×104 cm/s, the conversion efficiency of the cell arises a sharp decline. Research results show that there is an approximate linear relationship between focal length dispersion compensation of temporal phase zone plate lens and optical signal central wavelength at 1 310~1 550 nm. Through linear fitting, the linear relationship formula of focal length dispersion compensation and center wavelength is obtained. For input light wave with different wavelength, the optimal focal length dispersion compensation can be determined through the formula to realize the light pulse output with the narrowest pulse width and the best ER.
