    Abstract

The takeover control of failed spacecraft is of great significance in realizing the life extension of on-orbit spacecraft, avoiding the waste of payloads, realizing the occupancy regeneration of limited orbital resources, and maintaining space security. On the systematic analysis of the characteristics of takeover control means for failed spacecraft, in this article, the takeover control is divided into two categories, i.e., contact means and non-contact means, based on whether contact occurs during the takeover control process. Subsequently, the characteristics of various takeover control methods are introduced, and the key technologies involved in the takeover control tasks of spacecraft are summarized. The future development directions of intelligent and autonomous takeover control for spacecraft are given. This article is expected to provide technical reference and basis for future takeover control missions of failed spacecraft.
