    Abstract

Laser enhanced ionization (LEI) spectrometry of rare-earth element samarium (Sm) excited by tunable dye (Rhodamine 6G) laser pumped by YAG laser has been researched and 13 spectral lines are detected for the first time. The detection limits of LEI gpectrometry are better than AA (amotic absorption) in flame and ICP-AES. The lowest detection limit obtained is 2 ng/ml.
