    Abstract

    The textured Sr2Nb2O7 ceramic with high anisotropy was prepared by template grain growth(TGG) method, its anisotropy in crystal structure, dielectric and piezoelectric properties were systematically investigated. The results show that the textured Sr2Nb2O7 ceramic grow preferentially along the <0l0> orientation, and the grain orientation factor is calculated to be 0.78.The Curie temperature of the textured Sr2Nb2O7 ceramics is 1 328 ℃, and its piezoelectric and dielectric properties exhibit obvious anisotropic characteristics. The piezoelectric constant of SNO┴ sample is 2.8 pC/N and the resistivity is 5.6×104 Ω· cm at 650 ℃.
