    Abstract

    When entering over-the-horizon imaging, the light line reflected from the surface of the scene is attenuated by the scattering of suspended particles in the air, which results in a decrease in the image contrast. At the same time, the light line in the surrounding environment of the scene will also be scattered by suspended particles in the air, and the scattered light line into the imaging equipment will lead to the color drift of the image. In addition, under certain conditions of visibility, as the imaging distance increases, the atmospheric transmittance of visible light decrease constantly, which reduces the energy reaching the detector and affects the imaging quality. Incorporated with the two methods of optical and electronic dehazing, imaging quality is enhanced, and working distance is increased, so over-the-horizon imaging is achieved.
