    Abstract

    Based on the principle analysis of passive location of shipborne UAVs,a commom method is given about the position estimation of emitter.The tactics application of passive location of dual shipborne UAVs is studied from three aspects:equal circular error probability curve,ambiguous area in location and the maximum value of the emitter position error.The respective models are established,and practical conclusion is obtained through simulation.The paper provides a theoretic basis and a method for passive locating by shipborne UAVs for destroyer and frigate formation.
